Can we have multiple<auth-constraint> into single
<security-constraint> element

I think YES

yes you can and if 2 auth constraints are applied to the same pattern
then their combination will be applied to the url pattern

read security chapter from HFSJ for more details

As i see only one <auth-constraint> per <security-constraint> element.
So please correct me if im wrong

Really sorry . I mistook the question for web resource collection instead of auth-constraint

As you specified you can have only one auth-constraint for each security-constraint

However if the url pattern occurs in multiple security constraints then the combination of the auth-constraint is to be applied
