Let's discuss here how to pass exam without HFSJ. Does someone has such experience? Which materials will you advise? I plan to use Hanumant Deshmukh
kit together with Mikalai Zaikin notes and JWebPlus simulator. I'll tell my
score after i pass. I hope i won't fail

there is a book of SCWCD, which have 3 authers. released in July 2005 in malaysia, bookstore Kinokuniya KLCC. one of the author was the one you said in your post above, other 2 authors names i can't remember. i just saw the book, and didn't buy it because i have HFSJ already. besides that new book also specially focus on helping ppl to pass the exam. there is no point for me to buy another study guide kit of focus on exam..unless i'm too rich enough to buy everybook that i saw...hehe..

anyway, all the best. about your question, i'm not sure which book is good material....but if you follow the ranchers here how to study for the exam, sure you will get pass. no kidding around.

All the best..again.

Actually I never used any special preparation books. When I was prepearing for SCBCD I used only EJB specification and API specification (I got 95%). Also for SCJP I used only API spec, JLS and Bruce Eccel "Thinking in java"
Now I read the Servlets, JSP specifications and "Core J2EE Patterns" - I hope it's enough.

For my opinion it is a good way, because the result of examination should be not only the certificat but also knowledge.
