My view.jsp code that includes a tag file:
<%@ taglib prefix = "c" uri = "http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %> <%@ page isELIgnored ="false" %> <%@ page import = "java.util.*" %> <%@ taglib prefix = "myTags" tagdir="/WEB-INF/tags" %> <html> <body> <myTags:footer subTitle="haha" /> </body> </html>
My tag file footer.tag:
<%@ attribute name="subTitle" required="true" rtexprvalue="true" %> ${subTitle}
My question:
How come the view.jsp shows '${subTitle}' instead of 'haha'?
Thanks!
Jenny

Hi Jenny!
Try adding the following directive in your tag file:
<%@tag isELIgnored="false" %>
SCJP 1.4<br />SCWCD 1.4

Are you sure you placed footer.tag under WEB-INF/tags?
