Hi

I am preparing for SCWCD and following the book "Head First and Servlet and JSP". In this book they have explained everything very well. But since I don't have much experience on servlets and JSP, I keep forgetting the API's that was explained in the book.

There is no coding exercise in this book. In order to remember this, do you guys write some code or what? How do you guys remembering it?

Thanks

I am also in the same situation like you. I am trying to code and make every example work from the book. This is helping me to remember and understand a lot better than doing just reading.

Hope it helps!

I have programming experience, but I guess at times it becomes a matter of maggu-fying (remembering) the APIs as atleast 30% in the exam is something that normally no one in the industry normally uses, mainly because it is relatively new, and there a curve for learning those, which companies avoid.

But you should definitely have
1. Tomcat
2. Struts jar
3. JSTL jar
