Hi everybody,

This questions is for all Javaranchers who have already cleared the exam. I am planning to give SCWCD 1.4 soon. I see you all discussing about how HFS final mock exam result + 20% = actual exam result theory holds. I was wondering if there are any mock exams out there which have same difficulty level as the real exam. I have WhizLab and JWebPlus simulators. I am also doing mock exams from JDiscuss.com and using j2eecertificate.com for studying purposes.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks,
M Abidi.

In terms of difficulty, the real exam is quite like the HFSJ final mock exam. The JWebPlus exams are also quite similar in terms of difficulty.

Hi,

If HFS difficulty level is same as the real exam why is there a +20% margin???

may be I didnt word my question right, I want to know which mock exam can I take and be like o.k. I am prepared/not prepared because I scored X in this exam which means I will score somewhere around X in the real exam!

Thanks for the reply.

M Abidi.

Here is my personal opinion.

The HFSJ book questions with multiple possible answers, doesnt tell you how much choices are correct. Whereas on actual test, it does mention it. It probably adds extra 10%.

For rest 10%, it is coming from the level of questions, and how you perform on the actual test. The tests have a way of measuring your skills as you solve them.

Interesting thing to try on the test would be, to get all the questions answered wrong, and mark all those questions, so that you only get easy questions. Once you have all the 69 questions, mark the correct answers.

hi,

i'm curious at what you said that if you marked and intentionally answered the question wrongly and marked it, the succeeding question will be easier?

Rollyn.

The questions are decided at the start of the exam. Hence there is no such adaptive nature.

BTW, can you please change your display name to match Javaranch naming policy. You can do it so by editing your profile.
