I trying to run a simple jstl code.

The code is below.

<c:set var="user" value="CowBoy" />

<c ut value="${user}" />

When i run this, the output that i get is

${user}

This means the container is able understand the JSTL tags. But why does it not display value in the variable "user".

Thanks in advance.

Sreedhar,
Check whether you have a proper tablib include. If yes, are you using version 2.3. Because, in version 2.3 EL is disabled by default. You have to enable your EL either in your page directive or in your DD. You will not face these in your 2.4 version.
