hi all,

i have a question.

i have a tag handler, a TLD, and the JSP.

type name
-------------------------
JSP MyJSP.jsp
Tag Handler AdTagHand.class
TLD MyFunction.tld

------------------------------
MyFunction.tld

<taglib...>
....
<uri>wala</uri>
<tag>
...
...
...
</tag>
</taglib>

what i doubted is that, why can't JSP know that "MyFunction.tld" is the one it should look for, through the name of the tld file??? like MyFunction.tld??

or the Container search all tld file under web-app/WEB-INF directory according to uri that JSP needed??
like this piece in MyJsp.jsp:
<%@ taglib prefix="lo" uri="wala" %>

the Container will search all the tld file under web-app/WEB-INF directory to see which tld file has the "wala" as MyJsp.jsp needed?

no way to use the name of the TLD file? so we can simply name the tld file right?

Hi, it's not like you can't directly specify the name of the tld file. Here is the syntax

<%@ taglib prefix="abcd" uri="/WEB-INF/TLDFile.tld" %>

Try it, to get your doubts cleared.
