Can you please tell me which of the http methods are idempotent?

The methods GET, HEAD, PUT and DELETE share this property. Also, the methods OPTIONS and TRACE SHOULD NOT have side effects, and so are inherently idempotent.

Thanks for the response.
But in the HFJS Book its no where mentioned tht the Trace and Options are idempotent.

This is not a big issue , any method which doesn't have a side effect on the server work as idempotent method.
