Dear friends,

Today I appeared for the exam and passed with 89% score. Although I am not a very active JavaRanch member but occasionly I went throgh the posts by other members.

I feel this website is an excellent forum for discussion and clarifying the doubts. Also I like very much the HFSJ book for to the point explanations and an innovative way of presenting the contents.

Cheers,
Anil

Hello,

Thanks everybody...

Few tips from my side are:

1. Read the HFSJ very thoroughly especially the finer details. Sun Exam will tesing you on the fine details. Also it's important to refer the errata at http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/headservletsjsp/errata/ for HSFJ mistakes.

2. Go throgh the JSP syntex card and Sevlet and JSP specifications

3. Go through the mock exams available at www.javaranch.com.

The one good thing about the exam was that you will not be short of time and will get sufficient time to complete it. In fact I was able to complete my exam 30 minutes before the actual complition time. Most of the questions won't take much time it will be like either you know or not.

I hope this will help.

Regards,
Anil
