HI All.

I have completed my SCWCD today with 92%. Thanks for all your support. Missout some points on Custom Taglibraries.

I Thank all of the javaranch members as the First thing i have done is Went through the forum topics.

My comments :

HFSJ is the perfect one to Start with.
Then Specifications of Servlets,Jsp & JSTL.
DD of web.xml . Mandatory attributes of Each node.
pls look for Tag files on More as i have got some questions on that too.

Dynamic attibutes, variable tag, jsp xml syntax.

No surprise i have got 60% on my HFSJ mock exam. It really helped me well.
The study on the Specifications really helped me to get through .

MY advice is to Take notes on what the things you study and have a final go on this .
HFSJ is the Pefect one for the one who start with.

Congratulations !

I agree on the "make notes" advice, this is what i did, and it helped me to reach my 95%. I don't think i would have got this without making my own notes.

I'd add two things to your comments :
1. yes definitely dynamic attributes are a must. Not covered in HFSJ but a tutorial by Bert (i think) is in the forum. This is very easy, but if you don't know...
2. about DD, know SOME of the optional attributes, like description. This one is used in mock exams. The real one showed a description attr, but question was on mandatory only, so no problem there. But at least know they exist.

Again, heartly congratulations !

Again i would suggest none other than DTD in spec

servlet-2_4-fr-spec.pdf

. Its been marked with a tree sturcture. with the Tags that are mandatory , that will come one time. and more(*)
