Dear All,

My application has the foll. structure :

----projectName
--------jsps
--------WEB-INF
-------classes
-------lib

I need to create a war file of my application and deploy it on web server (WebSphere). I am creating the war file using the foll command.

jar -cvf web.war .

But the war file is not being created.

Experts do tell me what's gone wrong.

Regards

Nikhil

What do you mean not created ? No error ?

And please confirm : are classes and lib under WEB-INF ?

First, where did you execute the command ? Under the "projectname" directory ?
Second, what is the output of "jar -version" ?
