Where do i look each week to find out which forum will be the one to give away free books for the chosen posts in that forum?

The Book Promotion Schedule.
Carl does all the arrangements and maintains this pages for this. It is a heck of a big job - so be sure to thank him next time that you run into him .

[vent]I hope you're not going to be one of "those people" who post meaningless / silly questions in a book give away forum, just to try to get a chance to get a free book.... [/vent]

While I understand your concern, i think if you'd looked on the site for ANY of my posts, you'd see that I put quite a bit of thought into ALL my posts. Others may not agree with my opinions on topics, but I can say that every one of my posts has been relevant and well thought out. I do NOT post just to "win" something. However, if there is a topic I'm interested in but do not usually have the time for and I can possibly win a book for talking about that topic, I may take a few extra minutes out of my day to post.

If it helps, I'll add my vote for Robert as an intelligent poster. I've quite enjoyed some of his questions!

I truly apologize. I was in a bit of a mood on Friday. I'll just leave it at that. My vent should not have directed at you. Again, I apologize.
