Apologies if this is a frivolous question.
I cleared
scjp
1.4 last year.
Is that enough to take the SCWCD exam. Heard that there are some prerequisites.

That's all you need. You are allowed to take SCWCD.

Java
2 Platform (any edition)
Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.3 (CX-310-090)
