hi all,

i m having a problem runing the Dog-listener tutorial from HFSJ
i m getting the dog's breed as null
i checked servler logs to see whether the the Listener class is actually eing called.from the logs it apears that the Listener class is being called
but still i m no able to see the dog's breed - "Great Dane" on my browser. i tried putting println() statements @ appropriate places.
most surprisingly, my Dog's constructor isnt at all being executed.

i recheked the web.xml and all codes for any logical error. but everytrhing just ssems to be fine. still i m not able to see "Great Dane" on my browser. all i can c when i say

http://localhost:8080/listenerTest/TestListen.do

is this

test context attributes set by listener

and on the server console i see "null" returned by my S.o.p statement that i added in the ListenerTester class

Dog dog = (Dog)getServletContext().getAttribute("dog");
System.out.println("Niranjan :"+dog);

please please help me out. i tried a lot, but i m quite exhausted. and over and above i mturing up late from job, which gives me very little sleep
