Hello there,
when we use the taglib directive in the jsp .i.e.
<%@ taglib prefix="mytags" tagdir="/web-inf/tags" %>

I don't understand why are we specifying the tagdir with the location of the tag file. Because accor to the spec, the container looks for tag files in the some fixed locations. So does this mean that tagdir attribute is optional.

What in case if you have your custom directory inside WEB-INF/tags which you put the tag files, how will container know that directory name.
