Hello All,
What i know abt META-INF is that, it's created when we pack a web app as a WAR. I read in a book that any resources placed inside META-INF are private and can't be served directly to clients. Should we manually create a META-INF?

Thanks
Reema

Try just putting the resources you want to protect under WEB-INF somewhere (eg WEB-INF/pages or similar) - that's private too.

Hi,

You can put the files that you want to protect from user direct access in the META-INF or WEB-INF. But the WEB-INF is common place in the web application.

The META-INF directory is more imporant in library jar files.

Thanks
