Hi all,

Refer to my post here

But now i am feeling bit positve. just finished chapter 11 mock . scored 78% in it. got chance to sit down on sunday, study and appear for the mock test.

chapter 10 was a disaster due to number of readons said in this here.

but i didnt stop, i thought, it would be better to go ahead for other chapters though chapter 10 troubled me. chapter 10 was like a pothole in my preparation road. had i fallen in this pot hole, i would have had quit WCD preparation forever. but i somehow persisited, somehow survived through chapter 10. To be frank i m still not comfortable with chapter 10. but i will do it sometime later. you cannot simply sit and cry if you had BAD time with 1out of 14 chaptrers

What I learnt in the whole of the above -

"When you go through bad times, learn to persist, dont complain. Do the BEST you can. This BEST may not be @ par with what is expected, but at least you wont loose anything out of this. During BAD times one must not LOATHE the bad , similarly during GOOD times one should not get ADDICTED to the luxury that you get out of the GOOD. He who maintains CONSISTENT frame of mind, bith in GOOD and BAD times achieves CONSISTENT success"

Thanks all. I have just started chapter 12. I just skimmed through the whole stuff and these are my observations -

1) the chapter is densley packed with information.
2) the informations is fairly complex and, to be frank t will test your patience while remembering.
3) the chapter had losts of tags that go in web.xml, in additon to those given in chapter 11.

So sit back tight, PATIENCE TESTING is on its way. Moreever the work @ job is going to be like a CONSTANT LOAD as i will be working on a 2nd module in the same project in september. so very little time to spare on weekdays...and yes....the time's thats left is spent thinking / taking care of all those sweeties around me....!! ;-)

One question i would like to ask - "Should i read Charle Lyon;s sample chapter on Security before i read HFSJ ?" i mean will that chapter make me feel comfortable so that i can be confident while reading HFSJ ? or should i direcly read HFSJ ?

Thanks in advance

I don't think that you should get distracted and keep on going with HFSJ. If you're still not comfortable with it, you can still read Charles's sample.
Good luck.
