I found the below question quite ambigious on j2eecertificate.com

Which of the following statements are correct about the taglib directive? [Check all correct answers]

1.You can declare at most one taglib directive in a JSP page.
2.The taglib directive in a JSP page declares that the page uses a tag library.
3.The taglib directive in a JSP page declares that the page uses the servlet API.
4.The taglib directive can be declared anywhere in the JSP page.
5.The prefix declared in the taglib directive has to be unique in the context of the page.

Answer given on the site are 2 and 5.

I was aware that the taglib directive can be declared anywhere in the JSP page provided that it is declared before the tag is used.

Is not the above answer(4) ambigious? Are such ambigious statements asked in the exam?? .

Hmm...

Hi,

I was aware that the taglib directive can be declared anywhere in the JSP page provided that it is declared before the tag is used.

So the option 4 is not fully correct.

I found atleast 2 questions in real exam where I can select more that given option. I chose the best ones, and found OK.

Thanks

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
