Doubt on the one question in Hanumant book.

a. type of data source can be specified at deploy time
b. data clients are independent of the data source vendor API
c. increases perfmc of data accessing routines
d. allows clients to access the data source through EJB's.

my ans: b & c

book says : a & b

'a' has no relation with TransferObject. I'd say b and c too.

None of those are TO benefits.

For a clearer understanding of patterns, make sure to study the Forces and Consequences sections of each pattern from the catalogue.

Forces are the reasons for when a pattern is useful.
Consequences are the pros and cons of using the pattern.

The real exam generally lists a bunch of pros or gives a scenario of forces and you are expected to select the corresponding pattern.
