form data for Head method - Q (8) of Ch-4

I am not getting why doHead() method cannot read form data....as it is related with response header.....so whats wrong with request parameter?

doHead
protected void doHead(HttpServletRequest req,
HttpServletResponse resp)
throws ServletException,
java.io.IOExceptionReceives an HTTP HEAD request from the protected service method and handles the request. The client sends a HEAD request when it wants to see only the headers of a response, such as Content-Type or Content-Length. The HTTP HEAD method counts the output bytes in the response to set the Content-Length header accurately.

doHead returns the header info, the parameter in case of POST request is in body/payload portion.....
