Hi all

I'm one of the old members of javaranch. This morning I've passed the scwcd exam with 76%. Though I started my preparations as early as in May 06, I seriously spent only around 3 weeks in total. The notes/books I used are Head First, SCWCD by Hanumant and Lyon's security chapter.

I scored low because I did not memorize(deliberately!)any specs I just understood all the concepts and went for the exam.

I got some very easy questions from security, deployment(few about ejb), patterns and some time consuming questions from EL & custom tags. No questions from dynamic attributes, although I was waiting for it.

My suggestions to fellow aspirants:

- Thoroughly understand the concepts. HF can help.
- Memorize the specs if you are aiming for good score.
& practice
- Lots of JSP's.

I will be going for SCEA next. Well and sure I'll aim for good score here.

Thank you Javaranch.

Thank you all.

Fuzail: My suggestion is to memorize the specs related to HF chapters 4,5,6,10 & 13.

Thank you.
