Hello Everyone,

I am preparing for SCWCD but very discouraged due to lack of hands-on experiences. The book, HFSJ, doesn't offer much. Can anyone suggest any suitable project ideas that I can use to practice so that I can remember the required materials?

Thanks!
Lily

Don't get discouraged. While reading, make small applications for each thema. For example, an application about error pages, an application for custom tags, an application for listeners...

Hello Lily ,

Even I faced a situation very similar to yours. The most difficult issue is lack of sample code available.

I would recommend you to download the source code available from the following sites: (Google for them and download the source)

1. WROX Jsp Servlet book.
2. JavaServer Pages, 3rd Edition (O'Reilly) by Hans Bergsten.
3. Also, j2ee 1.4 Tutorial and Examples.
4. Charles Lycos Book - SCWCD Companion (source code - zip file).

That should suffice
Good Luck !
