You've got Weblogic, Websphere, Sun ONE (which almost nobody uses), Tomcat, Orion (which nobody uses). JBoss is a major open source server with an absurd number of downloads each day, and I'm trying to use it now . Is JBoss worthy of it's own forum?

JBoss may indeed deserve its own forum. But I wouldn't say that nobody uses orion. https://coderanch.com/t/4580/Cattle-Drive/selection-Orion

I've used Orion in the past too. At the time I wrote that I was talking (at least in my own mind) about the forums. With 98 posts, the Orion forum is the smallest one here. That's clearly a sign that Orion is the easiest to use of all Java technologies...

I would say that it is a sign that most people are forced to use something else by their employer or for other reasons have never tried orion (perhaps because there is more hype associated with JBoss).

I think we should have a JBoss forum. Any sheriff wanna flex their sheriff-ly power?

If someone's going to be messing around with the forum settings anway, it's never to late to expand the scope of the performance forum to include algorithms... (I never shut up about that )

I was just rereading the algorithms thread and noticed something I said in it:

Why does Orion have its own forum while JBoss doesn't?
