I have two questions:

1. Will 'Tomcat version 5.5.12' work with JDK 1.5?
2. Can I have differenct Tomcat versions on my machine? Becasue the old version 4.0 is used by an exisiting web application. I'd like to have the new version installed for my SCWCD practice.

Thanks in advance

Tomcat 5.5.x works just fine with Java SE 5.0 (I'm using 5.5.9 with it.) You shouldn't have any problems getting the two to play nice together.

With regards to running two instances, again, yes you can, so long as you run them on different ports.
