I am getting error in server log at my home - The content of element type "struts-config.xml must match "(data - sources <, form-beans ?, global-forwards ?, action-mapping )"

after doing some googling i came to know that the dtd definition in the DOCTYPE element in the xml file doesnt accept the structure of the xml file.

the xml file given in head first uses the struts-config_1_0.dtd file, which i guess doesnt match with the dtd required by the struts latest version 1.2.9.

Will it work if i change the definiiton of hthe DOCTYPE element to use the
struts-config_1_1.dtd or struts-config_1_2.dtd or struts-config_1_3.dtd ?

Please help out.
The application ( in head first's last chapter ) works fine, but the server
log kicks me.

Hi Niranajan,

I guess you may have figured out the solution by now.
Check out the struts version you are using, the struts-config.xml file should be according to the DTD of the struts version.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Hemant.
