Hello Friends,

The <c:set target = "${mybean}" property = "nonexistent" value = "abc" >
tag when used with a bean that does not have a property throws an exception.

What happens in the case when i use it (<c:set with target) for a Map that does not have a key, does it add the key or throws an exception?

Thanks,
Yogesh.

If the key identified by the property does not exist in a MAP, it tries to add it to the MAP.

Anyone, Please correct me if I am wrong
