I have got two queries relating to error-page element in web.xml

1) Can the pages who have got <%@ page isErrorPage="true" %>
can be put as error pages ?

2) Is there is a particular subset of response codes that can be put in
error-code tag

Thanks

1) Of course, that's what there are for. They'll let you access the "exception" implicit object.

2) Any code specified in the HTTP rfc will do.

1) Can "ONLY" the pages who have got <%@ page isErrorPage="true" %>
can be put as error pages ?

You can use an HTML page also as the value for the
location tag within an error-page tag
