Can someone help me here with this question?

Given: <%@ page isELIgnored="true" %> what is the effect?

A. Nothing. This page directive is not defined.
B. Turns off the evaluvation of EL by the JSP container in all web application's JSPs.
C. JSP shd be treated as a well formed XML by the container.
D. JSP containing the directive should not have any EL evaluvated by the container.
E. Page directive will only turn off the EL evaluvation if DD declares a <el-ignored>true</el-ignored> with URL pattern that includes this JSP.

HF Servlets and JSP states answer as 'E', however I feel the answer is D. Can someone give me the right answer with justification.
