Which one..CX-310-081 or CX-310-082 ?

Folks,

I am holding SCJP 1.4 certification and planning to go for any next level certification. Few frineds suggested SCWCD is valuable, so I just opened sun web site, there under WCD ... there are two links.

- Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.4 (CX-310-081)
- Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.4 Upgrade Exam (CX-310-082)

Which one we need to proceed with ? Is it a wise decision to go with SCWCD after SCJP ???

Go for CX-310-081.

CX-310-082 is an upgrade, that you can take if you already have passed an old version of SCWCD.

It depends on what you're interested most. If you want to learn about servlets/jsp first, then go for it. Order does not matter.

Yeah,I think before getting into EJB stuff its better to have more knowledge on JSPs and Servlets.

So I will take WCD exam and then BCD exam.

Hi all!
If you 're like programming a Web Application normal use Java language then SCWCD actually useful! SCBCD is only useful when you're programming a big Web Application use J2EE architecture.
