Does anyone have complete web.xml (DD with all possible tags - mentioning which are required and which are optional including their possible values)..

It would be great if we can get me even a tld file

If you are following the Head First book, that should burn those stuff into your memory.

If you want to be more exact, you can get a copy of the xml schema for the web.xml.
