For those who have taken the exam and passed, how much time did you spend studying the book and taking practice exams before you passed?

depends on your background

have you done actual codes? if not, that will help. especially, that is timed exam, 'sure' deals can make you go quickly through questions.

whoever told you 4 to 5 days maybe means he is already experienced at work, and has read the book, is just doing practice exams. mock exams also will help

ideally heres my formula, head first book, hands on, mock exam

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
