Hi,
A JSP page can be done either with standard JSP tags or with xml-based tags (they cannot be mixed).

I am just wondering: when to use which one ?
I am not sure about the purpose or interest of the XML-based tags.
Can someone give me an example ?
thanks

If you are more comfortable with XML syntax, use XML based JSP documents.

Similarly if somebody is coming toward J2EE programming from some other technology but with good XML experience then he/she would prefer XML based syntax.

You can think it as another option. Its just a matter of options i guess
