Ambiguity in servlet spec.

Hello everybody,

I was going through servlet spec.(2.4), on page number 35 I read -

Data from the query string and the post body are aggregated into the request parameter set.


just after this on page 36 under topic
When Parameters Are Available
I read -

The following are the conditions that must be met before post form data will
be populated to the parameter set:
1. ----
2. The HTTP method is POST.


I feel 'GET' method can also be a part '2.' statement.

Please guide. Am I right or wrongly interpreting the statements.

The sentence talks specifically about "post form data". It makes sense to me that it wouldn't apply if the method is GET.
