Hello Ranchers,

I have cleared SCJP 1.4 in 2004. I am working these days and preparing for SCWCD. I have read the Head First book once and now going through Study Kit of Hanumant singh. I find both the books equally good. I am working as well as studying, so it is taking a lot of time for preparation. Please advice me regarding the way of preparation, as I dont have any hands on experience in JSPs and Servlets.

I also want to ask all the ranchers that whether simulators like whizlabs and enthuware are available just like second hand books that we get in India. Which one is better for SCWCD? Any suggestions are welcome from anybody. Thanks in advance for guidance.

the two books you have purchased is more than enough to pass the exam successfully. i only had the head first book. also get a copy of mikalai zaikin's notes. its freely available to download here. refer to his notes after you finish studying the head first. as for the mock exams, i just did all the free mock exams given in the scwcd links and the final mock exam from the head first book. but i have heard that the whizlab simulator is good because the questions are really tuff in those.

well hope this helps and good luck with your preparation.
