Hi All,

First of all thanks to Almighty Allah.

I have passed SCWCD with 85% marks. My preparation was not great and a night before the exam i thought of rescheduling it, but due to workload in days ahead decided to go ahead with the exam.

I did not prepare too much for the exam and only read the HFSJ book.

Thanks to kathy, bates and basham. You have written an excellent book that not only allows you to pass the exam but also helps you understand some intricate JSP servlets concepts.

Their are certain questions which might appear out of HFSJ but they are only about 4-5, so if you have studied HFSJ you should get around 90% easily.

If any body needs any help... he is most welcome...

Hey Asif,

Thats a great score? Hearty Congratulations. Do you have any previous experience in JSP's and Servlets? Do you refer any simulators/mock exams.

Cheers!!!

Thanks ....

I have experience with jsp/servlets but its not a recent one. I had the whizlabs simulator and couple of other books with me, but due to time constraint only use the HFSJ book.

I think it is more than enough. However, HFSJ is a different book and unlike rest of books it has its own style. I didn't think after 5 years in professional life i would be able to study for 6 hrs straight, but because the book was so well written, i didn't like to get up.

The only topics that you think you dont know after you've read the book are EL expressions, but the best thing to do is practice every example in the book. Download Eclipse and Tomcat and try out all the examples. I've found that writing code helps memorize the concepts.
