Hi,
I am trying to practice the JSTL constructs and I have done the following.

1. copied jstl.jar into WEB-INF\lib folder.
2. changed the JSP file with the code given in HFSJ.

I am getting the following runtime error.

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The absolute uri: http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.handleJspException(JspServletWrapper.java:510)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:375)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile(JspServlet.java:314)
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:264)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:802)
....

Any clues on how to resolve this ?

copy the standard.jar also.then try the code again.
