HFSJ pgno 336: QNO 6,
Q: <%@ page isELIgnored="true" %>
What is the effect,

for this the anser given is

E: This page directive will only turn off EL evaluation if the DD declares a <el-ignored>true</el-ignored> element with a URL pattern that includes this JSP.

In my understanding(and from pgno 320) the directive takes priority over the DD Setting..
Please clear my doubt on this

Thanks

It is not on the errata indeed.
Thanks for pointing it out.
They should update it.

while we are on that topic, here is a quick review -

uspecified unspecified = false
boolean unspecified = boolean
boolean boolean = preceedence

first colomn - the directive
2nd the setting in DD
3rd - the result i.e . final value of the isELIgnored attribute

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
