Hello from Romania
Today I took my SCWCD and passed with 91% (not quite happy about it).

Preparation :
Time : 1 month (around 2-3 hours / day, 3-4 days / week )
Previous experience : yes

Preparation:
1. HFSJ (I've read it 2 times, after that, getting the mock exam of every chapter )
2. "SCWCD Exam Study Kit Java Web Component Developer Certification" (not finished )
3. free mock online exams : jiris, j2eecertifcate
4. Specifications : Servlet, JSP, JSTL1.1
5. Mikalai and Frederic notes.

One week before exam I took Mock final HFSJ (knowing the no of good answers) with 82% - so for me "20% rule" was "9% rule". This was maybe the biggest mistake. That was the "peek" of my preparation, after that I got bored about everything related to the exam . Anyway, in the last week I've continued to learn about it.

Regarding the exam : I missed 6 questions:
2 or 3 : lack of knowledge or attention
3 or 4 : I consider the questions not very clear ( especially on Design Patterns questions with multiple answers ) .

Regards,
Kama.
