I am taking the exam in less than 48 hours. The problem is that I am getting a really low score on some mock exams. On the last 2 Enthuware tests, I got 78% and 83%. On the JavaRanch exam, I got 83% I think. But on the Whizzlabs exam, I got only 60% and on the last one 40%! I feel ready but the Whizzlabs exams are getting me really worried. Sometimes I feel like it's pulling out questions out of of its ass. But anyway, should I call and reschedule for a later date. What kind of scores should you be getting on the mock exams??

BTW, I am about to do the Head's First right now to get more of a fair assessment.

The Head First has been the most consistent measure from what I've seen from folks at the Ranch. Most people score 20% higher on the real exam than on the HF exam.

Hi,

Dont worry abt the most tricky questions AND questions which are not clearly stated (properly phrased) ... Consider the remaining questions and see how well you have answered. That grades you!

I am not saying that SCWCD questions are straight forward. But wanted to say that mock exam questions are sometimes out of the way, as they concentrate to bowl you out

Finally, be confident on your preparattion. If you feel your preparation is not worth it, postpone your exam! HFSJ is the best exam which grades you properly.

All the best!

I hear a lot that it is much tougher than the real exam, so I can't see how it grades you properly.

Yeah, I passed it with 85%

I feel like a lot of mocks use tricky questions with gotchas. But the real exam didn't really have that. It just checked to see if you knew your stuff. HeadFirst also checks that but it's tough when you don't know how many to check.

My Story in the results forum - Read and give me some advice will you
