difference between IBM J2EE Certification and SCWCD+SCBCD

Hi,
When visited whizlabs.com,I came to know that IBM provides Certification for J2EE.Objectives of the exam are listed here.If so,What are the Differences between IBM's Certification and Sun Certifications(SCWCD+SCBCD).Is it worth to take?

Ramya,

It is a J2EE certification which means you should be familiar with the entire J2EE concepts before you can give the exam. I guess you will be more focussed on the subject with a WCD and a BCD certification.

Because of the certification alone, we cannot expect jobs. We will get jobs while using the knowledge which we get during the certification preparation.

For h.r, j2ee ibm's certification makes more sense than scwcd .,every body knows abt j2ee but might not abt web certification
and we can cover 2 exams with one,saving exam fee

You wont reecive a certification just for taking the J2EE exam. that exam is a test that is part of a certification called the IBM Certified Enterprise Developer(ICED). It is comprised of 4 exams. see here

.... and you have to pass those 4 exams before July 2007, when ICED will be discontinued.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
