dought on pre requirement for SCWCD

Hi ,
I have one dought about qualifying for SCWCD, I given my SJCP exam 6 years

before and cleared that one with good score. My question is still I am

qyalify for SCWCD? or not?

Can anybody clear my dought? Thanks a lot.

Any previous version of SCJP qualifies you for SCWCD... though I highly recommend upgrading your SCJP first.

That's right. As Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) Overview page says, " Prior to attempting certification, candidates must be certified as a Sun Certified Programmer (SCJP), any edition."
