Hello All,
I read the following question in a mock exam?

6. Which of the following listener types dont need to be configured in the deployment descriptor file? [Select all correct answers]
A. HttpSessionListener
B. HttpSessionBindingListener
C. HttpSessionAttributeListener
D. HttpSessionActivationListener
E. HttpSessionEventListener

I belive the correct ans should be both B and D. But, the answer given is only option B.

Pls. correct me if I'm wrong here?

Thanks,
Reema

Reema,

I also have a similar dooubt...in HFSJ book it is clearly mentioned that it is only HttpSessionBindingListener which does not need any entry in web.xml.But in whizlabs mock exams i found both HttpSessionActivationListener and HttpSessionBindingListener do not need to be configured in web.xml.....???

Which one is right??

I think HFSJ sould be named Head First Errors...it's a BIG error out there...
