Hello All,
The GET request doesn't have a body, cause the request parameters get appended to the URL. But, what's the actual size limit of a GET request?

Hi,

HTTP specification does not restrict the actual size. It depends on the web browser and web server capabilities. Some old browser will allow only 255 characters. Some MS IE version will allow between 2000 to 3000 characters.

Hi Elan,
Thanks for the post.
Is 255 characters also correct for some browsers?

I'm not sure what you are asking here. As Elan said, some allow only 255 characters, some around 1000, and some 2-3K.

If this is a real concern, you might be better off using POST instead.
