Which listener implementation does not require registration in web.xml

Just to confirm with you guys that only two listner implementation

javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionBindingListener
javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionActivationListener

does not required registration in the web.xml rest all the other's do.

Please confirm.

the above two listener must be implemented by attribute value object(objects set in the session object), so we need not mention in it in the DD.

please correct me if i am wrong
