I am prepareing SCWCD. It is bit hard to study without experience.
After i read the some textbook not FHSJ,, i tried to do Mock exam.
I got 76%. What does that mean? more study is needed? or just enough to take exam?

cheers..

Compared to the final mock. lots of ranchers get around +20% at the real exam.
You're close to 100%
Good luck for the real thing.

hi satoru. same name as my best friend in Adelaide.
Thanks reply as quick.
I could not get the meaning of + 20%.
I think the mock was easier than i expect.
And i try to do j2eecertificate(?) exam. i got 2 out of 10.
I am wondering that which simulation test is accurate?

Normally, people do a couple of mock exams before they sit for the real exam. So I guess that you also do the same. Try some commerical mocks such as whizlabs or enthuware. I guess they both are equally good.

For example, people getting 66% at the HFSJ's final mock get 86% at the real exam. Don't take it for granted though

76% sounds pretty high for the final mock.
You can refer to previous experience to get an idea :

I was little misunderstood the meaning of "Mcok exam". I found there are seveal Mock exam on the internet. What i did was "JavaRanch's own SCWCD Mock Exam". Can i still get +20% from javaRanch's mock exam?

No, the +20% rule works only for HFSJ's final mock

I guess that one is pretty easy. I scored about 80% on that one and a lousy 50% on the final mock exam.
On the j2ee cert I scored about 55% and on Sun's around 80%.

I hope the truth lies in between,

anyway good luck to all, who are preparing ...

I am also trying some mock exams on http://jdiscuss.com/Enthuse/jsp/ShowAvailableTests.jsp
below "Available Tests for SCWCD 1.4"
I have tried all of these mocks scoring from 76% to 96%.
I am reading the HFSJ book also, but I have not tried that mock exam yet, I want to be pretty sure that I know everything on the book first.
According to the mock exams on this web site, do you think I have a chance on the real exam ?
Thanks in advance
