It seems like every question in the Jakarta forum is about Struts. Perhaps it's time to give Struts its own forum.

+1 from me on this.
I think it shouldn't be exclusively struts though. I think the Forum should be Web Frameworks. That way it would include Velocity ,Tapestry, JavaServer Faces and any other framework(s) people want to discuss.
Struts does seem to have the most momentum in web Frameworks though.

Ravi

I agree that a Struts forum would be a good idea.

I think that traffic would probably decrease to next to nil in the Jakarta projects forum and would eliminate the need for the forum.

In the short term, it probably would. But that's because all the Struts posts have driiven out all but the toughest other posters. If we do split off a Struts forum, then the challenge would be to coax back all the people with questions about other Jakarta projects.

I think two forums... one for open source projects which would include Jakarata and SourceForge and the second for Java Frameworks such as Struts.

Done. I made Matthew the moderator.
Now that he has two forums should I double his salary?

Who is the nice Bartender/Sheriff who moved all the posts to the new "Open Source" forum? Nice job!

That makes 4 forums, so not only do I want my salary doubled but I also want a 1000% bonus.
