I don't why I can't get the picture of goole.

I have a snippet with only two lines:
=====================
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core_rt" prefix="c" %>
<c:import url="http://www.google.ca/intl/en_ca/images/logo.gif" />
================
when I run it, I get
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Problem accessing the absolute URL "http://www.google.ca/intl/en_ca/images/logo.gif". java.net.UnknownHostException: www.google.ca
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.handleJspException(JspServletWrapper.java:510)

Anybody can help?

Thank in advance.

core_rt? Are you using JSTL 1.0? I think the exam is for version 1.1 - though I'm not completely sure off the top of my head the differences between the versions.

My initial guess is a network restriction. Are you trying this from work where internet calls have to go through a proxy server?

Thanks Marc.

I am using apache-tomcat-5.5.17.

That's one of example I got from HFSJ, and yes I do have proxy server at work. I guess that's where the problem occurrs.
