True / False
HttpSessionActivationListener must be configured in the deployment descriptor via the listener tag

My answer is true. Only HttpSessionBindingListener is not mentioned in DD.

Am I right?

No - there are 2 listeners that do not need to be configured in the DD:
HttpSessionBindingListener and HttpSessionActivationListener. HFSJ is in error on this and this has been noted in the errata.
