Welcome to JavaRanch.

There is no electronic version of the book, you'll have to buy it - it's well worth it!

To add to what Ulf says, JavaRanch takes a strong stance against illegally distributed copyrighted material.

Even I faced the same problem but later I found that there is a copy in my office library which I borrowed and kept in my desk all time!

Even the same problem I am facing.

Generally I read in the bus while coming to and going from office as it takes around 1.5 hrs. And I prepared for SCJP also like this only.

But the SCWCD HFSJ book is very heavy and I can't carry it daily

Just for this reason only I am planning to switch to Hanumant Deshmukh's SCWCD book. Need suggestions on this book as I want to pass SCWCD as early as possible.

You can maybe do this....use Mikalia Zaikins and Fredrick Esnaults notes when you travel and at office. At home you can read the HFSJ. I do it this way as well and I'm really finding it useful!

Fredrick Esnaults notes is much similar to HFSJ stuffs. Thanks to Fredrick.
But i can't have this book in office b'cos my manager may think myself as more free person in the office and will give me more task.
I use to study SCJP after finishing my tasks, in pdf format...

Has any one tried google books? "http://books.google.com/books?vid=ISBN0596005407&id=WoA3F0UQfvQC&pg=PA1&lpg=PA1&ots=QI1Jq8S75H&dq=head+first+servlet&sig=idxCTkKLATD_lMLaRpPTh5fETy4" Check it out.
Also check out whether you have safari online book store in your office. I read it in safari during work days and use hardcopy at home. it might not be that comfortable as using hardcopy, but just one of the ways to reach HFSJ.

Frankly I'm not sure how I feel about Google books, but another option is to get your boss to get you a subscription to Safari - then you'd have online access to LOTS of books, learning books, and even reference books that your boss might approve of.

The http://faq.javaranch.com/java/ScwcdLinks page has those. You might want to read the whole page - it links to lots more interesting stuff too!
