Hi to everybody,

has drag&drop questions the same value as the other question types?

Thanks in advance

They are each worth one question just like every other question on the exam.

As a warning, when doing SCJP, if you try to review the drag and drop questions you have already answered, your answers can disappear meaning you have to do the question again.

Speaking with some colleagues here who just took this exam, the problem seems to affect this exam as well.

I wrote the exam two days ago. This is what happens with drag & drop questions:

- There is a button in the screen. I cannot remember its label's name, I think it was "Task". When you click on it a new window opens: this is the window where you have to do the drag & drop. When you are finished you have to click on the "Done" button.
- When you review your questions and pass through the drag & drop questions, the only thing you'll see is the "Task" button in the screen. If you click on it (hey, I tried it myself) a popup opens with a message warning you that if you proceed your answer will be gone: it gives you the option to go on (and erase your question) or cancel. I just clicked on cancel and I believe my answer was kept.

If you want to be sure: either do not click the "Task" button or click on continue and re-do your question.

Yes - it's a known bug (or should I say "feature") in the testing engine. Your test centre should give you something to write with though - paper/pen or a small whiteboard/marker etc. My advice is that for each DnD question you answer, just jot down a brief outline of your answer on hardcopy. That way, if you do want to revise it later, you'll still know the order you used before in the event of panic onset, and won't lose it altogether!
